Best Combo is a battle feature in Mega Man Star Force and Mega Man Star Force 2. Thanks this method to deal swift damage, it's possible for Boss Records to reach astronomically low times; 00:00:00 for SF1, and 00:00:03 for SF2.

Mega Man Star Force 1

Requirements

• Must be against a boss that's EX or SP version.
• All Battle Cards must be done in one turn.
• Must do at least 300 damage.
• At least 3 cards need to be used.

What Gets Registered

• Standard Class Cards
• Bonus Cards obtained by Countering.
• The panel type under the boss during the use of the chip.
• The inflicted status on the boss during the use of the chip.

What Will Not Register

If any of these cards are used during the Combo implementation, it will not register after the battle.

• Mega and Giga Class Cards
• Star Force Big Bang
• Wave Scanner Powered Up Cards

Where to Obtain

After a Personal Best Combo is equipped, it can be purchased for 3000z each from Legendary Master Shin on AMAKEN rooftop. Only 10 Legend Force cards can be in the inventory at a time.

Legend Force cards can be traded with other players through the Connect menu.

If the player is On Air with their Real Brothers, during battle, the Brother Force card can be used to select that Brother's Personal Best Combo instead of the roulette. Best Combo cards can also be traded.

Mega Man Star Force 2

The Best Combo registration rules have changed from the previous game.

Requirements

• Must be against a boss that's EX version or higher.
• All Battle Cards must be done in one turn.
• All Battle Cards must be used while the boss on the same panel, without letting them move.
• At least 2 cards need to be used.

What Gets Registered

• Standard and Mega Class Cards
• Bonus Cards obtained by Countering.
• Damage boosted by Tribes, support cards that attach, and Star cards.
• Muramasa's registered damage will be the damage it dealt for the combo.

What Will Not Register

If any of these cards are used during the Combo implementation, it will not register after the battle.

• Giga Class Cards
• Link Force Big Bang

Where to Obtain

After a Personal Best Combo is equipped, it can be purchased for 3000z each from Legendary Master Shin in the top floor of Wilshire Hills's Shopping Plaza.

Upon creating a Real Brother Band, both players' Personal Best Combos are given to each other. This will happen again upon a Data Update. Only 10 Legend Cards can be in the inventory at a time.

In this game, the enemy will be paralyzed after the Legend Card unless they are inflicted with other status.

Trivia

• In Mega Man Star Force 2, the in-game e-mail information for Best Combo doesn’t match the actual registration requirements. The mail says the requirements are “3 cards together in a turn” and “do more than 200 points of damage”.
