These are the Version Differences between the two versions of Mega Man Battle Network 3 White and Blue.

Visual Differences

• Menu: Colors are different.
  • White version has blue menus.
  • Blue version has black menus.

• Lan's House: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: Above the shelf is a foreign doll. On the table is a strawberry and cream shortcake. In the drawers are a collection of cooking utensil. The food being made is Beef Stroganoff.
  • Blue: Above the shelf is a giant plate. On the table is a a chocolate cake. In the drawers are plates with sentimental value. The food being made is (EN) Mom's stew or (JP) curry.

• Mayl's House: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: On the table are characters from the TV show, "Family Bonne".
  • Blue: On the table are characters from the TV show, "the Kasket Kids".

• Dex's House: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The shelf has text books that are hardly used. On the table there is a notebook filled with doodles.
  • Blue: The shelf has comics and text books. On the table, it seems Dex has been studying.

• Yai's House: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The picture is a portrait of Yai and her family.
  • Blue: The picture is of a dog oil painting.

• Higsby's: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The NumberMan display is doing a pose facing its left.The poster is of Mega Man X's Zero.
  • Blue: The NumberMan display is facing forward. The poster is of SharkMan.

• Metroline: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The trash can is a frog. The candy poster doesn't describe a flavor.
  • Blue: The trash can is a kangaroo. The candy poster describes it's for strawberry flavor.

• ACDC Town: Colors and decorations are different.

• ACDC Elementary: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The Principal's hung up calligraphy is "spirit".
  • Blue: The Principal's hung up calligraphy is "soul".

• SciLab: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The first poster is of a girl-type Navi. The second poster is of a young boy and a Navi.
  • Blue: The first poster is of BN1's IceMan. The second poster is of a young girl and a Navi.

• Yoka: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The food stand has (EN) corndogs or (JP) takoyaki. The hot springs water is white and milky.
  • Blue: The food stand has (EN) corn-on-a-cob or (JP) okonomiyaki. The hot springs water is brownish and smells like sulfur.

• Beach Street: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The poster is for a popular band. In front of DNN are DNN mascots, Denta and Denko.
  • Blue: The poster is for new DNN programs. In front of DNN are the red and blue NetRangers.

• Hospital: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White: The first poster is a cute girl inviting blood donation. The second poster is data on geriatric illnesses. The wagon is used to collect bed sheets.
  • Blue: The first poster is for blood donation, "We want your blood!". The second poster is a graph of babies' growth rate. The wagon is used to carry hospital meals.

• Castle Wily: Colors and decorations are different.
  • White version has green water flowing.
  • Blue version has pink water flowing.

Story Differences

• In Chapter 7, the Navi who you fight for Rank 2 is different:
  • In White version, MistMan is Rank 2.
  • In Blue version, BowlMan is Rank 2.
    • MistMan has an extra history with Serenade where he was defeated by them 10 years ago, this aspect does not exist for BowlMan.

Gameplay Differences

Shop Stock

Many shops in the game have different stock between versions. This includes: Higsby's main stock, NetDealers, and BugFrag Traders.

Yoka NPC

The character standing by the fence in Yoka is different depending on the version.

• In White version, it's Mr. Famous' apprentice. He will give beginner level and vague secret information for battles.
• In Blue version, it's Mr. Famous. He will give advanced level and concise secret information for battles. Additionally, he will challenge you to battle his new Navi, Punk.
