Mega Man Battle Network 1 / Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star
Net Area names are labeled as they are in Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star. Since they do not appear in the story, PharaohMan V1 and ShadowMan V1 are found as you would with V2 navis, therefore they do no have V2 counterparts. Bass only appears as a random encounter after you obtain all chips but #127 LifeAura (event chips are excluded); Bass only has one version.

Rockman EXE 4.5: Real Operation
Mega Man Battle Network 5
Like Battle Network 3, 5 tried doing an unconventional method for Navi encounters. In order to fight the β version of the Team Navis, you must defeat the α version that shows up as NPCs on the Net in a different area. GridMan's and LarkMan's Ω versions appear as random encounters in the Net after defeating their β versions at their respective usual locations. β versions of the Darkloids only show up after defeating their α counterparts in the Nebula FactoryComps. Bass Ω appears as a random encounter after defeating the ChaosLord representation of Bass; BassXX replaces it if you're using Bass Cross MegaMan; you can also replace him in the DS version by defeating NebulaGrayΩ in the opposite version of the game.
