The Star Force is the main transformation system in Mega Man Star Force. The player will have access to the Star Force starting in Chapter 4 against a Jammer fight. The first Star Force will be one based on player's version.
How to Use
When Star Force card appears in the Custom Screen, selecting it will have MegaMan change forms when the turn starts. Each Star Force form is permanent until MegaMan is struck by that form's weakness, where he will lose the form.
If the player formed Brother Band with game versions that aren't their's, those versions' forms become options when the Star Force card is selected.
- Since Brother Band with other Satellites can only be done with real life connectivity, the other forms can't be accessed with a single cart.
Wave Scanner
Linking up with Power Up Data from the Wave Scanner will let MegaMan start with a Star Force form based on the Scanner's version. MegaMan can still use the Star Force card to change forms in battle.
- Due to this, it's possible for the same Star Force form to change into the same form, e.g. Ice Pegasus into Ice Pegasus. Though it may seem useless, changing forms will reset MegaMan's current status, clearing him of paralysis, freeze, and invisible status. Players can retain their form without switching to another Star Force.
Counter Hits
Instead of the normal chance of pulling a Bonus Card from the Folder (12/16 Standard Class, 3/16 Mega Class, 1/16 Giga Class), a Star Force Big Bang will always be pulled as the Bonus Card. Multiple Big Bangs can be obtained each turn.
