Masakazu Eguchi (えぐち まさかず), born 16th November, 1978,[1] was a scenario writer for Mega Man Battle Network and Mega Man Star Force. He was also the director of Mega Man Star Force 2. The character of Mr. Famous was based on him, and he frequently cosplays as Mr. Famous for commercials, promotional videos and real-life events. He has a lab coat bearing the characters 名人 (Meijin), meaning "Master" and is also Mr. Famous's Japanese name.
His favorite characters are Haruka Hikari (Lan's mom) and all of Mr. Famous's Navis. His favorite BattleChip is AntiDamage.[2]
