Information regarding the Battle Chips available in Mega Man Battle Network 6.

Chip Elements & Types

Terminology	Meaning
None	No additional properties.
Fire	Does x2 damage on enemies standing on Grass panels, then the panel is returned to normal. Does x2 damage against Wood enemies. If the enemy is Wood and on Grass panel, the damage will be x3.
Aqua	If the attack travels over a Crater panel, it becomes a normal panel. Freezes on enemies standing on Ice panels, then the panel is returned to normal. Does x2 damage against Fire enemies.
Elec	Does x2 damage on Bubbled enemies. Does x2 damage against Aqua enemies.
Wood	If the attack travels over a Conveyor panel, it becomes a normal panel. Does x2 damage against Elec enemies.
Sword	The attack will hit the Nightmare virus family and trigger AntiSword. Does x2 damage against certain enemies that has it as a weakness and removes Tengu Cross.
Wind	The attack will instantly remove Barriers and Auras regardless of damage Does x2 damage against certain enemies that has it as a weakness and removes Erase Cross.
Break	Does x2 damage against certain enemies that has it as a weakness and removes Slash Cross.
Cursor	Does x2 damage against certain enemies that has it as a weakness and removes Ground and Dust Cross. If the hit enemy has a ???? trap active, they will be removed without it triggering.
Bonus Point	Adds an additional stat or attack power boost.
Summon	Summons an obstacle on the field.

Chip Properties

Terminology	Meaning
Sword	Sword can also be a chip property that has all the above traits as the type. Due to them not having Sword as the main type, they will not be boosted by Slash Cross' abilities and only select ones can be charged by it.
Guard Pierce	The attack will pierce guards and instantly destroy obstacles. Does x2 damage on enemies that are Frozen. Guard Piercing attacks do not count as a Break type attack unless they are Break type. Thus they will not remove Slash Cross.
Recovery	The card will trigger AntiRecv.
Pierces Invis	The attack can affect enemies through the Invisible status.
AirShoes	Applies to Navi summon. Those with this property can be summoned over Broken/Hole panels.
