Patch Card Jobs
In the Japanese version, 10 jobs were only accessible by scanning real life e-Reader Item Cards. As such, it is impossible to get certain items just with Game Pak alone.
- In the Japanese Virtual Console, these jobs can be implemented by accessing the Network menu.
- In the English version, these jobs are implemented in the game by default.
These jobs are:
- JuvenileDiv - FolderPack1 NCP (Yellow)
- Get The Bad Guy - Custom2 NCP (White)
- Find The Virus! - FstGauge *
- PenguinsRanAway - PngnThnk
- Update Help - MegaFolder2 NCP (White)
- DietGood Money - 5000z
- Self Research - SciManul
- OfficialRequest - AreaGrab*, AntiNavi *, AntiRecv *
- An Experiment! - CrcusMan *, JudgeMan *, ElmntMan *
- RoadToSoulBtlr! - SoulEmbl
ProtoMan SP
In order to level up the ProtoMan fight by Lan's house in ACDC, the following requirements have to be met.
- ProtoMan V1 must be defeated.
- (JP) All 25 jobs except the Patch Cards / Card e-Reader jobs must be completed.
- (EN) The first 23 jobs on the list must be completed.
- In the Legacy Collection, when playing on English language, the original requirements from the English GBA version will be applied. However, the job list follows the Japanese numbering. To level up ProtoMan to SP, the first 23 jobs from the list above must be completed.
- The player must open the Request BBS again once the required jobs have been completed.
ProtoMan FZ
Once you reach Master Rank (complete all jobs, including the e-Reader ones), you'll receive a phone call from Chaud. ProtoMan's strongest version, ProtoManFZ (Final Zero Custom) is now fightable in Classroom 6-1.
