Bugs to test
Null mode glitch
An old glitch and this trivial walk through people glitch. The real question is, do these have any practical use? The walk through people glitch works on BN1-3. Walking through people is simple. Face opposite of them, then hold B and A. Then walk through them. https://clips.twitch.tv/NiceGenerousPizzaPanicVis
BugStyle Buster Blanks error
One of BugStyle's disadvantageous bugs is to give the Mega Buster's normal shots shoots blanks. However this does not occur, so BugStyle does not have a disadvantageous bug in that battle. -Check in JP and EN
No More Style Changes glitch
When you get a new Style when Bug Style's level is MAXed:
- "You're sure you want to overwrite it,now?" Reply "Nevermind"
- "Do you want to work more on this style, or find another?" Reply "Improve this one"
After following this reply order, MegaMan will be unable to receive any more Style Changes. While doesn't stop progressing the game, this will prevent getting any more Styles. This is a game-breaking glitch that would require you to start a New Game or load a previous save. -original poster confirmed this happening in JP, as they sent their game to capcom
ANtidamge
According to the reported information, Kawarimi will not activate even if you use Navi Scout after using Kawarimi and receive attacks other than Navi. Will the effect of the chip used later take precedence?
return area
Can't return from enemy area? When fighting the Numbers in the upper part of the secret area, using Kawarimi first and then attacking the Numbers in the middle with Fumikomi Cross causes an error and delete in the enemy area, and there seems to be a bug where Mega Man cannot return from the enemy area. is. However, if you press the left, you will return to your own area. * It is said that it will occur in battles with any virus, not just Numbe
Alpha object
- When defeating a Proto, if you attack with a Black Bomb or Prism, the Proto will continue to hit obstacles even after being defeated because it still has a bite judgment. * Digression. If Forte GS's Gospel Cannon hits Luke, it will hit continuously.
- When the normal version of the proto arm Σ is used in a proto battle, the proto using the proto arm Σ flashes. I don't know about the protoarms available in the black version...
Magnum enemy
If you hit Dogabeen (appearing in the unmanned tank's cyber brain, etc.) with Killer Sensor 2, it will stop attacking even if the paralysis heals. It seems that you can do it with Totem 3, but be careful as it will restart if you hit it with its flame attack. There are also reports that the attack resumed after the paralysis healed.
gutsshoot thing
EXE3 I call it: "The GutsShoot PA Collision Freeze Glitch"!
Not sure if anyone else has brought it up in any other topic, but I found out this glitch by fooling around with my one-code folders in EXE3 White. I made a G-coded folder, consisting of more than enough GutsShoot Program Advance combinations.
Anyways, on with the glitch. All you require is:
-Any NaviCust setup with SprArmr (HubBatc and BugStop recommended so that it doesn't take up so much space or have any negative effects along with that snazzy set of programs given in HubBatc including SprArmr). -An equipped folder with at least one DashAtk G or , Guard and one of the 4 GutsMan Versions of NaviChips that are Mega Class BattleChips. -A virus encounter with (at least) one Fishy, Fishy2 or Fishy3 Virus (preferably the first option because it moves slower than the rest)
PLEASE NOTE: AS THIS GLITCH CAN FREEZE YOUR GAME WHILE STILL ACTIVELY RUNNING ITS VARIOUS FUNCTIONS, IT IS RECOMMENDED BUT NOT FULLY TESTED TO BE SAFE THAT YOU SAVE YOUR GAME BEFORE ENTERING THE BATTLE. Best case scenario: You can turn off the GBA like normal after performing the glitch and boot it up again, returning to where you left off at your last save point. This is what happened to me.
Directions after entering virus battle with a Fishy as an opponent: (Optional)1: Delete any viruses that would be a distraction to performing the glitch (anything that isn't the Fishy virus). (Optional)2: ADD any unneeded BattleChips to get the GutsShoot PA a bit faster. FastGauge is recommended as a BattleChip Preset or simply being run as a Navi Customizer Part to help move things along a bit. 1: Acquire the GutsShoot Program Advance. 2: ALLOW the Fishy to charge forward at you. 3: When you are absolutely certain you've taken a hit and the Fishy has taken at least (although I think it takes exactly) 1 frame to enter into your square, use the GutsShoot PA. The screen dims like normal, and Megaman disappears for a moment (where you're expecting him to return with GutsMan, ready to throw Megaman into the enemy)...
...although what I meant by Megaman disappearing for a moment, I actually meant FOREVER.
The screen stays dim, the background animation in the battle still is animated and scrolling like normal, the music is still playing on-cue (the "Shooting Enemy" virus battle theme of EXE3), but you can press all the buttons you want on the darned GBA (except for the Soft Reset button combination) and it still won't do anything.
