These are the features that require connectivity in Mega Man Battle Network 6.

Network Menu

MMBN6 can be played via the traditional Link Cable method or using the Wireless Adapter. Wireless Adapter will use a Host and Client system. Along with a custom name and message, if a Navi Link System is being used, their head icon will replace MegaMan's.

  • NetBattle: If the Beast Link Gate is used for the connection, the players can slot in chips for the battles.
    • SnglBattl
    • TrplBattl
    • RandBattl: The players play a single battle randomly picked using a assortment of preset Navi Customizer Parts and BattleChips. There are 3 ranks to choose from.
      • Practice
      • Battle
  • Compare
    • CompLibry: Linking up will fill up the players' Libraries with blue text and no chip image. This will count as completing the Library, so Title Screen icons will be added.
    • CompRcrd: Can link up regardless of version. This is the only way to power up opposite version SP chips. This will count as completing the Library, so Title Screen icons will be added.
  • Trade
    • BattlChps
    • Program
    • Folder: The player can pick one of their folder and send a copy of it to become the other player's Extra Folder. The folder cannot contain a GigaChip, also the Regular and Tag Chip selections will not carry over.

Crossover Battle 2 (JP)

The Japanese version of Mega Man Battle Network can use the Wireless Adapter and perform battles with Shin Bokura no Taiyoh: Gyakushuu no Sabata.

Boktai Trader

The Boktai Trader can be found at Seaside Area 1. Points from Crossover Battle can be traded in, the reward pool changes depending on how many points are inserted.
