Rockman EXE 4.5 Real Operation has two types of bosses; Darkloids and Navis. These two differ as Darkloids are encountered in set locations on the net, similar to ghost re-fights in the main series while Navis are fought in Tournaments and as NPCs on the net who you can talk to for a rematch during specific times of day in set areas.
Darkloids
The light story of the game involves taking down "Navis running rampant", known as Darkloids. These are bosses from BN4 and are fought in set locations during story segments. After encountering them, these become random encounters in that Net Area along with being opponents in various tournaments throughout the game.
