I think that what caused it is that they went straight to Miyu's instead of actually role playing as Lan. Going to DenTown's metro to find her not there, then you go back out to see what was taking so long... Curious... Is it a sequence softlock?

And it's just going down the list from virus to virus, when it gets down to the Quaker virus it just lags.

Going to Switch home menu and back does make the game go into the Select button options menu, allowing me to Return to Title Screen. Otherwise the game isn't responding at all to inputs.

I think it's specifically the Quaker virus that's triggering this, none of the other viruses seem to have this effect.

also works in English, just select and back out a bunch of viruses until you select Quaker, game lags trying to load him

Also they definitely altered the invis chip art and the virus it comes from.
