Mega Man X DiVE Offline now available on Steam, Android, iOS

It’s time to dive into the Deep Log as Mega Man X DiVE Offline is now available for Steam, Android and iOS. The game will run you $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 / ¥3990 on all platforms.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline features the same gameplay as the original Mega Man X DiVe, but with the big difference that you don’t have to pull on a gacha mechanic with real money to obtain new characters and items; now you can simply buy them from the shop with in-game currency, and there are no microtransactions. Additionally, there are no multiplayer modes – this is a fully single-player experience, and the game has been rebalanced as such.

With the exception of Capcom crossovers like Street Fighter and Monster Hunter, all characters and stages from the original game are available in Mega Man X DiVE Offline, which yields a total of over 100 playable characters and over 900 stages. This includes a number of characters from Battle Network and Star Force.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline coming to Steam, iOS and Android in 2023

After the recent announced shutdown of Mega Man X DiVE’s gacha version, it seemed like the Deep Log might be lost forever… but never fear! Just announced at Capcom Showcase, Mega Man X DiVE Offline will be launching on Steam, iOS and Android before the end of 2023.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline will have (almost) all of the content from the original version, featuring more than 900 stages and over 100 playable characters – not just from Mega Man X, but from the other Mega Man subseries as well, including Battle Network and Star Force.

The offline version of the game does omit some features from the original. Crossovers with other games (such as Street Fighter and Monster Hunter) will not be included, and none of the multiplayer modes will make the cut either. Additionally, you will not be able to transfer any data from the original game.

Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection has sold over 1 million units worldwide

Now this is some good news to hear, and only after 2 weeks of going on sale… The official Mega Man Twitter account has reported that Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 combined sales have surpassed 1 million units worldwide.

This is a grand feat that few Mega Man titles have the privilege of. Previously, for the Battle Network series, the only other title to have sold 1 million worldwide is both versions of Mega Man Battle Network 4. In Japan, Rockman-Unity had also previously addressed that the physical MMBNLC game has sold out in stores and is working to restock it in late April.
