Out of the blue, Nintendo has announced that this week’s digital downloads will bring two new Mega Man games to the European Virtual Console: Mega Man Battle Network 2 and Mega Man Zero 4! While Europe hasn’t reached MMBN3 and MMBN4 quite yet, this at least closes the gap a little. On the other hand, Europe is now two games ahead of North America in terms of Zero games.
Both games will be up for grabs in the Wii U eShop starting next Thursday, on 14 May 2015. The price point will be the usual £6.29 in the UK, and €6.99 in the rest of Europe.
As a reminder, the Virtual Console version of MMBN2 lets you obtain special BattleChips to compensate for the lack of any communication features. This includes all multiplayer-only chips in * code, GateSP G and four elemental Gospel X chips. Consequently, Hard Mode is also accessible.
