Last month, Capcom kicked off their annual Mega May poll to determine which Virtual Console Mega Man title would be the first to hit the eShop this month. The fans have spoken and the winner is… unfortunately, not MMBN.
But no worries! Nintendo has posted the schedule for this year’s Mega May and it is as follows:
- 7th May: Mega Man & Bass (GBA)
- 14th May: Mega Man Battle Network 3 Blue/White
- 21st May: Mega Man Zero 2
- 28th May: Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun/Blue Moon
Each of these games will be coming to the North American Wii U eShop for the standard $7.99 price point. In addition, Nintendo’s info pages confirm that you will be able to obtain the exclusive multiplayer-only chips simply by entering the Comm menu. No word on any European release for all but Mega Man Zero 2, which was released a while ago. Maybe next year?

BN3 was my first game in the series, and it got me “jacked in” to what ended up being my favorite series as a kid by far. Especially being homeschooled and not getting out much, it was nice to find another BN player and constantly battle him.
Love these VC releases, I was never good enough to beat any but 6 with all of the stars so I can finally fulfill my childhood dreams. I even have the old guides for 3 and 4!
